Kruger National Park and Swaziland (MKT20)

Day 1 (BB)

Arriving at Johannesburg’s O.R. Tambo International Airport you will be met and escorted to your overnight accommodations in Pretoria.

Day 2 (BB)

Departing after breakfast your professional National Tour Guide and wildlife expert, drives you east towards Mpumalanga Province. Learn about this fascinating country, its diverse peoples and its rich history as we travel to see natural wonders like “God’s Window”, “Bourke’s Luck Potholes” and the “Blyde River Canyon”. Staying among the unusual hills of the Blyde River area tonight, we may choose to go for a morning hike or simply enjoy the area’s incredible scenery.

Day 3 (BB)

Today we head down the mountain and enter Kruger National Park after lunch. The Park is famous for its abundant wildlife. Chances are good that you will see all of the “Big 5”—lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and leopard. Other animals you will likely see include kudu, waterbuck, giraffe, hippo, hyena, jackal, as well as numerous birds of all sizes, shapes and colours. We enter the Park at Orpen Gate and overnight within the park.

Day 4 (BB)

Heading south we cross open grasslands where we may see large herds of impala, zebra, buffalo and wildebeest as we make our way towards the luxurious Mvuradona private lodge on the edge of Kruger National Park. This afternoon we drive through the park “hunting” for some of the more elusive wildlife this region has to offer. Keep your eyes open for cheetah and wild-dog.

Day 5, 6 (BB)

Leaving Kruger Park behind we head towards Swaziland, one of South Africa’s neighbouring countries; a country that has never been colonized and to this day retains its King and ancient royal traditions. Here we stay two nights in traditional beehive huts with the necessary commodities. You may choose a mountain walk, cycling or just enjoy the wildlife around the camp.

Day 7 (BB)

Departing Swaziland, we cross the border back into South Africa back to the busy urban surroundings of Gauteng Province
